FABLE 3 DLC FREE FREE
We always want to make the sub better, so feel free to ask for flairs, CSS changes, more/less rules - whatever. I'm going to say this with a slow but cautious yeeees. If you can get past the beginning (which is pretty bull. It's so long to get through and absolutely aggravating when you want to play the game over and over again) then I think it's worth it for a fable fan. The graphics are nothing special (think of F2 but a bit brighter), your dogs broken half the time in this game, and the mechanics can be a bit strange. Shaking everyone's hand is a chore because you have to gain approval from everyone in every town in some way and like with the other games, the ending is bunk no matter what side you choose. However, aside from that, the voice acting a top notch (as always), the main quest is interesting, the side quests are fun (there's one where you have to find a bunch of gnomes at it gets creepy at the end. You also have to find the music box from F2 which was a super nice tie in), there's a quest where you play with a bunch of DnD nerds, Reaver has a psychotic fan that he has a restraining order on( look closely at her table in her house, she's got a carrot that my friends and I suspect she's been using for non culinary purposes next to a poster of Reaver-ahem), you can choose to make the orphanage into a brothel (always a fun one) and the supporting cast is diverse and great. The one thing that hits me pretty hard is the time skip (again). The time skip from 1 to 2 got me emotionally (rip Oakvale) but seeing Bowerstone grow so immensely and to see what happens to that field you wake up in with Theresa in 2 makes the game more interesting. It's got it's flaws but I would suggest pushing through the beginning because it IS hard to swallow and try to take up as much of the story and side quests as you can (if you can make it. F3 is one of the harder games to get through so you wouldn't be alone in not wanting to play it after this last try).
FABLE 3 DLC FREE SERIES
You're welcome!! It's honestly a great series because the story's so rich even though it's bogged by mechanics and limitations but it's the story and voice acting that really brings me back. Sorry this is long but damn, you asked.įable 1 was always my favorite when I was younger because it was so dark and not like any other game I'd played (It took me forever to get through Darkwood because it terrified me so bad-I was just 15 lmao). When Fable 2 was released, it became my next favorite because it was really that 500 year time jump that got me. They had kept most of the old landmarks so when I traveled specifically to see the differences, some of it was a bit gut wrenching to see (I was so entranced by the F1 lore that seeing some landmarks destroyed was so upsetting- again, it was the only game I was aware of (at the time) that did something like this so it was something super new to me) but it was still so significantly different from F1. Let us know what you grab in the comments.Heroes became a dying breed (more so in F3), they made jokes about the Guildmaster, Hammer sings what could have been a lullaby to children about the defunct town of Oakvale, the introduction of Chesty, the Spire (and Theresa saying 'gtfo this is mine now' like wow I fought for this and you take it from me maybe I WANTED THE TOWER IN THE SEA), the dog actually works pretty well (that's one mechanic I was surprised with. Once you’ve got that credit in house, go and grab the games that are discounted through the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 13th-19th September 2022.
